Kate just had her 2nd birthday and it was a great day! We threw a Dora party for her and she had a blast running around outside with all the kids and swinging at the pinata! She got tons of cool presents from all her friends and we are so thankful for everyone who was able to share her birthday with our family!
Kate got a new kitchen set and a Dora Jeep for her birthday. She loves playing with them all the time!

Katherine Ann is becoming such an amazing little girl! She is talking in sentences, she can count to 10 in English and in Spanish (thanks Dora!), and she knows colors and shapes. She amazes us every day with everything that she is learning!
She loves to watch Dora the Explorer, Wonder Pets and Backyardigans. She loves playing outside, she is such a little tomboy! She likes to play in the dirt and rocks and play on our new playset.
She looks forward to Daddy coming home and runs to the door when he arrives. She is definitely a strong-willed little girl, she doesn't like taking no for an answer!
Kate is really starting to get used to Olivia being here. She wants to sit on the couch and hold her and she comforts her when she is crying. She is becoming a great big sister!
Kate was such a Mommy's girl until the arrival of her little sister, Olivia. Now she loves to hang out with Daddy!
One of Kate's favorite meals is spaghetti, although I'm not sure where more of it ends up - in her mouth or everywhere else!
